Improving weight loss in healthy adults with overweight and obesity: An AI-assisted dietary prediction and prevention system

The eTRIP study (Improving Weight Loss in Healthy Adults) utilized an artificial intelligence-assisted dietary prediction and prevention system combined with continuous glucose monitoring to help individuals with overweight and obesity manage their weight more effectively through personalized metabolic insights.

What will I need to do?

  • Participate in a 24-week study involving dietary prediction.
  • Perform Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) using the Dexcom system.
  • Attend in-person body measurement sessions at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
  • Utilize an AI-assisted platform for dietary prevention and tracking.

Eligibility

  • Aged 21–65 years old.
  • BMI ≥ 23 kg/m².
  • Willing to use CGM and travel to NUS for assessments.
  • Not using or intending to use other apps for weight loss.
  • Not pregnant or lactating; no serious mental or health conditions.
