PRISM-I

Personalised Responses and Integrated Systems for Metabolism

PRISM-I is a pilot study investigating the effectiveness of a personalized, stepped-care approach to managing insulin resistance. As metabolic health is highly individualized, a “one-size-fits-all” approach often fails to address the underlying complexities of metabolic syndrome.

Our research integrates digital health interventions with wearable technology, including continuous glucose monitors and smart rings, to gather precise, real-time data. By analyzing these metabolic responses, we aim to develop a data-driven path toward sustainable metabolic management and improved health outcomes.

What will I need to do?

  • Attend 4 study visits over a 10-week period.
  • Wear a smart ring and Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) to track metabolic data.
  • Regularly interact with a food-logging app.
  • Follow your assigned lifestyle intervention plan.

Eligibility

  • Aged 21–70 years old.
  • Has Metabolic Syndrome and is insulin resistant.
  • Waist Circumference: ≥ 80cm (Female) or ≥ 90cm (Male).

Benefits

  • Free health screening and detailed body composition analysis.
  • Free smart ring* and CGM provided.
  • Track your physical activity, sleep, and glucose using wearables.
